Hello Wakeland Football Parents,
This page contains IMPORTANT information and links for you regarding the football season at Wakeland.
October Update - Hoco_Community_Pep_Rally.pdf
We are excited to bring back the Community Pep Rally at Wakeland. This year we are combining it with our Homecoming Pep Rally and working to make it a big event! We want to include as many teams and organizations as possible for our new EVENING pep rally that will be on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m. on our field. Below is some detailed information in the links, but here is the brief synapsis:
- We are having a combined homecoming and community pep rally.
- In addition to the pep rally, we are having a community fair and organizations, booster clubs, and businesses can have a booth/table to sell merchandise, promote upcoming events, have a game table with prizes - it is totally up to your group what they would like to do.
- Also, we are going to have a spirit line at the front of the school with spirit items to welcome people as they drive into the parking lot.
- This pep rally will also be where the homecoming court is presented. We will not have a pep rally during the school day.
- Seniors in football and cheer will be introduced at this event and not senior night at the game so we can save time there.
- All our fall sports will all be recognized.
- We will have performances from cheer, Legacy Line, color guard, and band.
Here is the additional detailed information:
Hoco/Community Pep Rally Letter - this explains the event which will take place on Thursday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Hoco/Community Organization Registration - this allows organizations and businesses to sign up to help with the spirit line or have a table/booth at the pep rally to sell items, promote their organization, etc.
We appreciate all of the support for our Wolverine Players, Coaches and Family!
